Welcome to the El Rancho Loma Serena Homeowners Association Website
This web site has three purposes. First is to provide a place
where the members of the homeowners Association can stay informed on
activities and proceedings of the Association. The second is
to provide potential property owners with information about the
Association. The third purpose of this website is to provide
Title Companies with the correct board member contact data to process
their escrow demands.
El Rancho Loma Serena HOA was established in 1969. We are a
non-profit organization. There are 148 lots in the
development. All lots are privately owned. 69 percent of the
lots are developed. The homes are not the "cookie cutter"
variety. The homes range from cottages to very large exquisite
homes. The Association has common areas including the
Ranch House and creek frontage.
Ranch House
The Ranch House facilities are available to all members of the Association. Reserve
a bedroom for an overnight stay or reserve the
kitchen/yard for a group activity. Suggested donations are Each Bedroom $20.00,
Shower Only $3.00 and Kitchen/Yard $50.00/group day use. The grounds would
be a perfect setting for a wedding and/or reception. Dry camping on
the grounds at the Ranch House is also available. (Dry camping defined as
a camper/trailer, no electrical or sewer hookups) Maximum of 2 dry camp
reservations allowed during the same period with a maximum of 1 week stay
without special permission from the Board of Directors. Recommended
donation for dry camping is $10/night (approved 7/2006). Contact the caretaker to make
your reservations at 754-4654.
Horse Shoe Pits
Spend a fun afternoon at the horse shoe pits located across the street from
the Ranch House. While playing horse shoes you will hear the sound of the creek
flowing (at least in the winter and spring). Take a load off your feet on one of
the benches overlooking the creek. Wild black berries grow along the banks of the creek. They
are usually ripe in July/August. The properties in the Association
have many varieties of oaks, cedar and pines. Most properties are 5 acres
parcels. View the parcel map on this website for further
details. Check the Events Calendar for other activities happening
here at the Ranch. A favorite saying around here is "If you're lucky enough to live in Mountain Ranch, you're lucky enough".
After your first rainy winter in Mountain Ranch, you may wonder where did I
move? Is this the rain forest of Calaveras County? Two members of
the Association have been keeping rain statistics for many years. How does
your rain gauge compare with these annual rain statistics?
